Beer and Wine Hobby offers a variety of ways to place an order.
- Order online with secured pages for entry of your credit card number.

Payment methods
We accept these credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover Card. Checks or money orders are welcome any time, payable to Beer & Wine Hobby. Gift certificates are available and can be redeemed only through mail order or in the store.
Special Orders
If an item is listed as a special order, it will have to be ordered from the manufacturer or distributor. We cannot ship it immediately, as with our other merchandise. Special order items cannot be returned.
Super Saver Shipping
- Orders under 25lbs will receive a promotional rate of $7.99
- Orders between 26lbs-50lbs will receive a promotional rate of $15.99
- Prior purchases are not eligible
- Shipping quotes are automatically calculated when you enter your shipping address. While our website does its best to accurately determine your individual shipping rate, we occasionally need place orders into multiple boxes due to product size/shape. In these cases, we will contact you if additional charges are greater than $5.00.
- If you return an item, we refund shipping only if the return was due to our error.
- Super Saver rates apply to the contiguous 48 states only. AK, HI and other territories ship at published UPS rates.

Expedited Shipping – UPS Next Day Air, Second Day Air, Three Day Select
- Orders ship out same day if received by 3:00 PM EST. If a product in your order enters backorder status, before your order is picked, you will be contacted via phone and/or email.
- Choose between UPS Next Day Air, UPS Second Day Air or UPS Three Day Select where available.
Tracking Your Shipment
- If you choose UPS, shipping confirmations are sent by email the same day the order ships or the next business day, directly from UPS. These confirmation emails will have the information needed to track your order progress, including the tracking number.
- APO Military Addresses
- Special Note: Due to an extremely high number of missing packages, we are suspending all shipments to military addresses until further notice. Over the last few months that number of packages that have gone missing or confiscated by either the U.S. Postal Service or a foreign customs entity has risen dramatically. Based on this information we are unable to provide service to military address of any kind at this time.
- At this time we do not ship orders to Canada and other countries. We only ship to the 50 U. S. states and U.S Possessions.
Freight Items - (Truck Shipment Only)
- Very large items such as wine presses, crushers etc. need to be shipped via truck and ship at the actual freight costs. We will contact you with a quote before processing your order. Our shopping cart does not accurately quote freight on truck delivery orders.
- Items will be marked “Truck Shipment Only” and will be charged actual carrier freight charges and/or crating charges if applicable. The charges will be calculated upon receipt of your order. We will obtain the best possible shipping rate / transit time for your items and will contact you via phone and/or email to obtain your approval of the shipping charges.
- The freight shipping charge is calculated is based on the following: Item physical and dimensional weight, Item classification and your shipping address, if the address is residential or commercial and if you need a lift-gate at that location to remove the items out of the truck.
- Sometimes there are situations where multiple items can fit on one pallet. If you are ordering multiple freighted smaller items, such as, fermentation tub, a crusher and or a stand, it might fit on one pallet. You can always call us for a custom freight quote.
Guarantee / Returns
Our goods are priced to ensure that only the best quality of equipment and the freshest products are sold. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, we will refund your money promptly upon receiving the return with the exception of Special Order Items. All refund claims MUST be made within 30 days. Shipping charges will not be refunded. Returned products must be in absolutely new and unused condition for refund.
- You must call us to receive a return authorization number before sending back the merchandise. Any unauthorized returns are subject to a 10% restocking charge.
- All claims must be made within 48 hours of receipt.
- All shipping charges are the sole responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.
- FOOD ITEMS ARE NOT RETURNABLE.
- Special Order Items are non-returnable.
Damaged Merchandise
In case of damaged or broken merchandise do not return the items to us; please notify your local UPS office at once so claims may be handled promptly.
