Corks

Beer-Wine.com carries a complete supply of corks and closures for use in bottling during the final stages of wine making process. From a wide variety of wine corks to a full selection of corking supplies, you'll find everything you need to bottle your favorite wine making recipe.

First Quality Corks
These straight corks are a hybrid – part pure cork and part synthetic cells. They are leak-proof and natural in appearance.

T-Top Corks
These are #7 size corks that are available with either a black plastic cap or a crystal look topper. They can be used for cordials, vinegars, or oils. T-Top corks are not for long term storage of wines.

Altec Corks
Our new preferred winery grade corks consist of nearly 100% natural cork, perfect in shape and without defect or pores, and superior in appearance and sealing quality. Altec corks recover shape immediately, permitting wine bottles to be placed on their sides at once. *Recommended corker: Gilda Corker or Floor Corker

Premium Agglomerated Corks
These new #9 premium quality winery grade corks are soft enough to be inserted easily yet resilient enough to protect the wine without any leaks. Agglomerated corks are made from uniform shavings of cork that are mixed with the appropriate food grade glue to form dense, well-made corks. Premium agglomerated corks are chamfered and have a decorative pattern. No soaking is required. Storage for these corks should not exceed 2 years.

Synthetic Corks
Our new Nomacorcs synthetic wine corks are made by a unique process that binds the interior and exterior sections of the cork by heat adhesion. The Nomacorcs corks provide a superior closure because their small, uniform, closed cell structure creates a better barrier from oxygen and preserves the quality of your wine. Corks seal instantly and bottles can be inverted for storage immediately after corking. They are easy to insert, and won't crumble, dry or shrink.

*Recommended Corker: Double Lever Adjustable Corker or Floor Corker.

Champagne Corks
For use with champagne bottles, our composition corks will form a distinct mushroom shape when inserted with a multi-function Italian floor corker.
