USE: Helps to eliminate harshness and improve the balance of the wine.
WHEN TO USE: Biolees can be added during the primary fermentation or towards the close of malolactic fermentation.
Package size - 6 grams (sufficient for 5 gallons)
DOSE:per 5 gallons - Mix 12 grams Biolees into 5 oz. of wine. Once dissolved stir into target wine. Add as desired either during alcoholic fermentation or at the end of malolactic fermentation. NOTE: Wine MUST BE RACKED within 2 weeks of addition of Biolees.

Further, when Biolees is used, it has the selective effect of eliminating specific harsh phenolics while improving the balance of treated wine. Biolees can be added during the primary fermentation or towards the close of malolactic fermentation. Biolees is a natural yeast derivative nutrient that can supply certain fermentative advantages together with significant wine quality improvement. Used alone, it should not be viewed as a substitute for DAP (inorganic nitrogen) or other fermentation nutrients.
