Chilean Carmenere: Chile's low humidity and slight breeze from the Pacific Ocean provide ideal growing conditions to slowly mature Carmenere grapes and allow for their full flavor profile to be reached. Medium to full bodied in nature, this wine will tempt you with cherries and strawberries on the nose followed through with dates and chocolate on the palate. Fermented on Carmenere Winery grape skins and toasted oak, this wine can be consumed relatively young, although will benefit with age. Enjoy this wine with sauteed peppers, roasted duck with cranberry sauce or grilled lamb with a lightly peppered mushroom sauce.
