High Gravity Series - Opus Ten - Imperial Chocolate Coffee Stout

"If you brew only one beer this year, this is the one"  Opus Ten is just that, a masterpiece.  Incredibly rich in mouthfeel,  Opus Ten is the definition of Imperial - with complex meldings of coffee, french oak, chocolate, vanilla and malt.  While it is an extract recipe, it will push the limits of your equipment.  Detailed instructions and Yeast included.

Required but NOT included:

• 8oz Unsweetened Bakers Chocolate


• 8oz Powdered Chocolate (100% cocoa)


• 4 oz Coarsely Ground Coffee


• 2 Large Muslin Bags

Optional but recommended:

• 1oz French Oak Chips

Our High Gravity (High Alcohol) recipe series are quality proven brews. Each kit yields five gallons, and is available with your choice of Ready to Pitch Liquid Yeast or Dry Yeast. All kits are pre-packaged and pre-measured and come with complete instructions. For freshness and quality, we do not pre-grind grains. Some kits may require additional ingredients which are NOT included, and are noted in each recipes description. (Please note - these kits DO NOT contain bottle caps or muslin bags.)
