Primarily used for aroma. Has a modest bittering value. Flowery, fruity, earthy and spicy aroma. Average Alpha: 4-6% Use in American Brown and Pale Ales and English-style Ales.

Willamette hops (pronounced wil-AM-it) where first developed around 1976 as a hybrid of the UK Fuggle hop in Oregon and continues to be very widely-grown hop in the US.
