Wine Press

During the home winemaking process, a wine press is used to extract the needed juices from grapes, or whichever fruit is being used to fill the wine recipe. The extracted juice is then processed into a finished wine product. In some cases, the juice extracted by the wine press can also be made into a non-alcoholic, pure fruit drink.

For wine enthusiasts that produce their home wine products completely from scratch, a wine press is necessary to separate the desired fruit juice from the unneeded parts of the fruit (stems, skin, etc.). The resulting juice can then be used to continue through the winemaking process.

Bladder Press
A bladder wine press consists of an inner tube, which when filled with air or water creates enough pressure to press out the fruit juice. Bladder presses are available only by special order.

Hydraulic Wine Press
Our Hydraulic Vertical Double Basket Press features a 2 speed electrical control. The Hydraulic Press comes with the option of stainless steel basket and juice tray, or wooden basket with stainless steel hoops and a stainless steel juice tray. Two baskets are standard with this wine press and are included in the price. The Hydraulic Press is available by special order only.

Maxi Press
This tall table wine press is very similar in style to the Micro Press. The Maxi Press features stainless steel buckets, chrome-plated steel with epoxy varnish, and a chrome-plated steel base.

Mini Tilt Press
Our Mini Tilt Press is a table model wine press. This press is designed for production of small batches of fruit wines.

Vertical Ratchet Basket Press
The traditional double ratchet basket press is a simple and very rugged wine press. Our vertical ratchet presses are built of heavy painted steel. Comes with a clear oak basket that splits in two for easy removal of the pomace. Cast iron ratchet features two operating speeds for fast wine pressing. These wine presses come with basic instructions.
