Details
Light-colored, Belgian crystal malt. Imparts a rich caramel-sweet aroma and a toffee-like flavor. Adds light amber to copper hues to beer. A distinguishing characteristic of all caramel malts is glassiness. Contributes mouthfeel, head retention, and extended beer stability. Best suited to amber, brown, and Scottish ales, bocks, and Brune des Flandres.
