Sagrantino A deeply colored red wine grape variety grown mainly in the Umbria region of Central Italy. Its often described as Italys most tannic variety, exceeding even Nebbiolo in this respect.
Nose: black cherry, plum, violet
Flavor: black cherries, ripe blackberry, spicy and earthy

About ordering Fresh Grapes
Our fresh grapes and juices will be harvested at their peak and shipped to Beer & Wine Hobby for puck-up around September or October based on the California weather. These grapes are well-sulfited for their journey from California to your wine cellar. Check our Harvest Updates page for current information. Customers will be notified by phone ahead of their grape`s arrival.
