Beer Hall Helles

Inspired by the historical beer-halls of Germany, this classic Munich Helles recipe is sure to be a crowd pleaser. This medium-bodied beer is straw colored with a nice white head. The pilsner malt adds a nice bready flavor which is balanced by a light hop flavor and aroma. The lager fermentation process ensures this beer will be crystal clear. This easy drinking beer will leave you begging for another stein, so toss on your lederhosen, grab a pretzel, and raise your glass. Prost!

Style: 4A: Munich Helles 

Fermentation Temp: 50-55F

ABV: 4.5%

This is a lager recipe that will require fermentation temperatures ranging from 51 F to 36 F. If using liquid yeast we recommend doing a yeast starter prepared 2 days prior to brewing.
