Farmhouse Ale (Saison)

Our Farmhouse Ale is mildly hopped light in color, and optionally* delicately spiced with coriander, orange peel, and peppercorns. Using the Belgian liquid yeast try fermenting cooler (65-75F) for a subtle fruit undertone or ferment warmer (85-95) for a pleasant spice note.

Style: 25B - Saison

Fermentation Temp: 65 - 85F

ABV: 6%

Your craft brew kit includes specialty grains, malt extracts, hops, and additives.  

*Please note: many people prefer the original recipe; as such, 1 TBSP coriander, 1 oz. bitter organge peel, 1 TBSP peppercorns and 2 grams - grains of paradise are optional and not included in the kit.  We offer all items except the peppercorns at Beer & Wine Hobby (search or choose links below).

Kits are available with either Ready to Pitch Liquid Yeast for your ease and convenience or Dry Yeast which you may prefer in the summer months because it ships well.
