Lodi California Caterina Old Vine Zinfandel Grapes

Old Vine Zinfandel This grape probably originated in the Balkan Peninsula and arrived in California in the 1850`s. When labeled `Old Vine` it means the grapes are from vines 35 years old or older. This red grape is versatile and can be made light a fruity with a medium body or rich and robust.

Nose: graphite, licorice, slate, spicy, earthy

Flavor: blackberry, raspberry, spicy, jam-y

Our fresh grapes and juices will be harvested at their peak and shipped to Beer & Wine Hobby for puck-up around September or October based on the California weather. Check our Harvest Updates page for current information. Customers will be notified by phone ahead of their grape`s arrival.
