Lodi California Malbec Grapes

Malbec A traditional Bordeaux varietal type most notably grown in Argentina and Chile. Malbec is a good as a single varietal or blending grape. Malbec is similar to a cabernet and a merlot. It imparts a deep color with ample tannin and plum like flavor.  

Nose: earthy, mineral, green/fresh

Flavor: violet, plum, tart red fruit

Wine from Fresh Grapes

All California grape varietals arrive in 36lb crates and you will need 2 crates to make about 5 gallons of wine. Your yield may vary based on the juice extraction process employed. About ordering Fresh Grapes

Our fresh grapes and juices will be harvested at their peak and shipped to Beer & Wine Hobby for puck-up around September or October based on the California weather. Check our Harvest Updates page for current information. Customers will be notified by phone ahead of their grape`s arrival.
