Pale wheat malt made from North American hard spring red wheat. Has a sweet malty flavor with a hint of fruitiness. Can also have a slight tartness to its flavor not present in white wheat. Wheat malts are high in protein, which helps produce fuller-bodied beers and improve head formation and retention. Suitable for all wheat-style beers.
