Samuel Smith Old Brewery Bitter Clone

Sam Smith Old Brewery Bitter: English Pale Ales originating from the Yorkshire area tend to exhibit strong bitter qualities. This one has a dark amber color with a cream colored head giving way to a woody nose that is also earthy & nutty leaving a hint of dark fruit behind. The taste is a subtle fruity malt up front followed by nice vanilla tones that leaves an oaky finish. Traditional brewery methods included boiling down part of the wort to make a `liquor` that was reintroduced to the boil. The `Yorkshire Square System` was also incorporated whereby the foam head produced during boiling is removed from the wort to impart a cleaner flavor.

Your craft brew kit includes specialty grains malt extracts hops and additives.
