The items and places we cannot ship Free:


- All glass products

- Orders over 16 lbs including shipping materials.  Examples include, wine kits, beer and wine equipment kits.  Check the additional info tab on each product for shipping details.

- Large quantities of Sugar or Grain (anything over 16 pounds)

- Orders requiring multiple boxes

- Barrels 

- Freight orders

- Special orders - examples include Blichmann products and Mushroom kits

- Special Deals (example: free carboy with purchase of beer or wine kits)

- Blichmann products; StirStarters, and other products marked 'no free shipping'

- Large or bulky orders, where dimensional rates apply

- Medium to large orders to Alaska, Hawaii and other territories - we will contact you with shipping rates

- Orders to APO/FPO addresses

- Mixing items with different shipping costs (free shipping and customer-paid shipping) will cause the entire order to incur a shipping fee.

Free Shipping may not be combined with any coupon or other promotional offer.  Prior purchases are not eligible.  The shipping method is our choice and may require additional time in transit. 
  • Due to the above restrictions, shipping rates may need to be adjusted after you place an order; if so we will contact you.

Help us keep shipping costs as low as possible.  Multiple same/next day orders will ship together and incur shipping fees.


Super Saver Shipping


We always provide the best shipping rates to our customers.  And while we cannot ofer free shipping on every order, many orders will qualify for our Super Saver shipping program.

What is Super Saver Shipping? 

Super Saver shipping is based on the weight of an order.  For orders up to 15 pounds, you can have your order shipped for $12.99. For orders 15.01-30 pounds, the rate is $22.99.  Shipping weight is not the same as actual weight, which includes the box and packing materials.

How do I know if my order qualifies for Super Saver Shipping?

If your order qualifies, the Super Saver Shipping option will be one of your choices.

Exclusions from Super Saver Shipping

Orders under any free shipping dollar threshold, if in effect at the time.  Items with special promotions. Also see the additional exclusions under the free shipping promotion.

Fedex Home, Ground or USPS Priority Shipping - always available shipping options

For online orders our website will calculate your estimated shipping costs and give you the choice of available service . If we need to pack your order in multiple cartons, especially if it contains glass, we will adjust your shipping charges when shipped. If the additional shipping charge is less than $5.00 we will make the adjustment and charge your card accordingly, if over $5.00 we will contact you for approval of the charges.

Expedited Shipping – Fedex Next Day and Second Day Air
  • Orders ship out same day if received by 3:00 PM Eastern Time. If a product in your order enters backorder status, before your order is picked, you will be contacted via phone and/or email.

Tracking Your Shipment - Fedex will email your shipping details when your order ships.  You may not receive an email for Super Saver or other shipping types.

Freight Items - (Truck Shipment Only)

  • Large items such as wine presses, crushers and stainless tanks will be shipped via truck. 
  • We will contact you with a quote before processing your order. Our shopping cart does not accurately quote freight on truck delivery orders.
  • Items will be marked “Truck Shipment Only” and will be charged actual carrier freight charges and crating charges if applicable. The charges will be calculated upon receipt of your order. We will obtain the best possible shipping rate / transit time for your items and will contact you via phone and/or email to obtain your approval of the shipping charges.
  • You are reponsible for any accessorials - lift gate, residential deliveries, appointments etc. deemed necessary by the carrier, whether the charges are imposed before or after you receive the shipment.
  • Sometimes there are situations where multiple items can fit on one pallet. If you are ordering multiple freighted smaller items, such as, fermentation tub, a crusher and or a stand, it might fit on one pallet. You can always call us for a custom freight quote.


Canada & International Orders

  • We ship within the US and its territories, or to a US-based freight forwarder.  We do not ship orders to Canada and other countries except under specific conditions. 
  • Freight fowarding policies:
    • Our responsibility on Freight forward orders ends at the departure of an order from our facility to a US-based freight forwarder.
    • Freight foward orders must be paid on a credit card issued in the United States which draws funds on a US bank without foreign transaction fees, or a US-issued bank check or money order for the full value, at our option.  
    • Bank checks and money orders must clear our bank before the order will be shipped.
    • Buyer is responsible for all additional fees, duties and taxes levied by the freight fowarder and country of receipt.
    • We do not accept returns on freight forwarded orders.

 

Special Orders

If an item is listed as a special order, we order it especially for you and it cannot be returned.

Guarantee / Returns

If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, we will refund your money promptly upon receiving the return. All refund requests MUST be made within 30 days. Shipping charges will not be refunded. Returned products must be in absolutely new and unused condition for refund.

  • Call us to receive a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number before sending back the merchandise. Returns without an RMA are subject to a 15% restocking charge.
  • All shipping charges are the sole responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.

Food products and special order items are not returnable.


Damages incurred during Shipping

In case of damaged or broken merchandise, please notify us within 48 hours so claims may be processed promptly.  We initiate claims with carriers.  All damage claims must be made within 48 hours of receipt.   Please do not return the items without our authorization.
