Vanilla Bourbon Oak Stout

You won`t often find beers of this caliber on the shelves of your average liquor store; they are born from deep inside the heart of the beer lover. We`ve taken a rich Imperial Stout and imparted upon it the complexity of oak chips. Add flavors of bourbon, vanilla, and rich roasted malts and you have a killer imperial brew.

Style: 20C Russian Imperial Stout

Fermentation Temp: 64 - 68F

ABV: 9.7%

Not Included: Bourbon (for infusing oak chips) and a small muslin or reusable nylon bag to contain oak chips.

TIP: we recommend using two packages (this kit comes with one) of yeast or making a starter for this brew because of the high gravity of the wort. Search for a yeast starter calculator online to find how large of a starter you need for your batch.

For maximum flavor, try ageing this fine craft brew for 6 - 8 weeks
