Wormwood has a long tradition of use in brewing. This wonderful alternative to hop usage will add strength and fragrance to any Ale. Wormwood has a mild, minty, licorice aroma but also an extremely strong herbal bittering property and perhaps is the most potent bittering herb. Making it the perfect hop substitute for Gruit Ales.
