Silicone is highly stable making for a long lasting Bung. You don`t have to worry about cracking chafing mold or mildew. these This bored silicone bung is designed for demijohns and barrels and is to be used with an airlock.

Also consider our Large Vented Bung - This fits demijohns and acts as both a stopper and an airlock.  Five vents and a pliable seal allow CO2 to escape but prevents entry of oxygen and airborne contaiminants. No more suckback of liquid from the airlock; great for extended fermentations where only minimal CO2 is produced.
